Long Island University Sponsors Job Fair Exclusively for College Students
Career Counselors Seek to Stop Brain Drain, "Keep Talent at Home

Southampton, N.Y. — The Long Island Collegiate Job/Career Fair represents a unique opportunity for businesses to connect directly with some of the 25,000 students attending college within the SUNY system.

The fair is the culmination of efforts from Long Island Job Connection and the Career Development Organization that represents the 64 SUNY Colleges and will take place at Farmingdale State University, in Farmingdale on May 26 from 2-6 p.m. Students from the 9 Long Island colleges have also been invited to attend.

Students can scour the pool of local businesses for full time, part time, summer and internship positions. The event is also an excellent venue for developing contacts that can extend well beyond the college years.

The fair is free to all students. Individuals wishing to make their employment information available to employers in advance of the fair can fill out a registration form at
