The Southampton College Education Division is sponsoring a conference on Tourette Syndrome in the Classroom on Tuesday, April 29 in room 201 in Chancellor's Hall at 7:30 p.m.

The free conference, presented by Susan Conners, an Education Specialist with the Tourette Syndrome Association, will address Tourette Syndrome and many related conditions including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and associated learning disabilities.

Conference attendees will be better able to recognize Tourette Syndrome in the classroom, to promote professional and public awareness about the disorder and its effects, and to facilitate classroom adaptations and strategies designed to improve learning for students with Tourette Syndrome and associated conditions.
