Tickets are sold out for the 11th Annual All For The Sea benefit concert at Southampton College featuring Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band. The legendary act, which sold out shows at Southampton College in 1996 and 2000, will perform Sunday, July 13 at 7:30 p.m. in their only appearance in the New York Metropolitan area this summer.

The concert is part of Buffett's elaborately staged ?Tiki Time? tour that has played to rave reviews and sold-out venues across the country. Buffett's previous two All For The Sea appearances in 1996 and 2000 also sold out. Southampton College's concert series has raised over $8 million for marine and environmental sciences scholarships since 1992.

Buffett's latest release, a two-disc set titled ?Meet Me In Margaritaville: The Ultimate Collection,? hit stores last month and currently is listed among Billboard's top 30 albums.

Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band began a string of eight consecutive All For The Sea concert sellouts with their 1996 show and in 2000 raised the bar even higher, breaking all records for highest attendance and fastest sellout.

In 2000, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band played favorites including ?Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes,? ?Cheeseburger in Paradise? and, of course, ?Margaritaville,? along with a cover of ?Brown Eyed Girl.?

Buffett's popularity at his Southampton College shows is aided by his strong local fan base. His throng of devotees ? affectionately known as ?Parrotheads? ? flock to his concerts in outrageous tropical outfits and flamboyant hats.

A resident of the area, the musician is very involved in the local community and is regularly seen at area fundraisers. During years when Buffett was not All For The Sea's headliner, he could be found in the VIP tent with family and friends.

Since Buffett's 1996 sellout, artists James Taylor (1997), Rod Stewart (1998), Tom Petty (1999), Buffett (2000), Paul Simon with special guest Brian Wilson (2001) and Bob Dylan (2002) also have sold out.

All For The Sea has become a popular Hamptons tradition. The concert series has raised more than $8 million since debuting in 1992. Other previous performers included Crosby, Stills & Nash (1992), Tina Turner (1993), Foreigner and the Doobie Brothers (1994), Tony Bennett (1995), and the Allman Brothers (1996).

The marine and environmental sciences programs at Southampton College are acclaimed for their excellence and have produced 34 Fulbright Scholars in the past 28 years. On the doorstep of the Atlantic Ocean, Southampton College is located in one of the most ecologically beautiful but fragile areas of the country. The marine and environmental programs have capitalized on this superb natural laboratory.
