Congressman Tim Bishop to Speak at Southampton CollegeHonors Lecture Includes the Economy, Medicare and Iraq

Fax: (631) 283 4081Southampton, NY - First District Congressman Tim Bishop (D-Southampton) will address students at Southampton College - the institution he formerly led - on Monday, March 3 at 9 p.m. in Duke Lecture Hall. His special Honors Program lecture is titled "Current Issues on Capitol Hill" and will focus on the U.S. economy, Medicare, the federal budget and the potential war in Iraq. Bishop was provost of the College for 17 years before running a successful congressional campaign last year. The event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a question and answer period for Southampton College students.
